 This sounds like a badass book. Breaking into bank vaults! Who doesn't want to try that? Besides, the cover is just gorgeous. Wow. There's no mention of a love story, so maybe this one won't be inanely cheesy and disgusting. What about you guys? What's a book you wish would come out before the world ends?

On the heels of a family tragedy, the last thing Katie Greene wants to do is move halfway across the world. Stuck with her aunt in Shizuoka, Japan, Katie feels lost. Alone. She doesn’t know the language, she can barely hold a pair of chopsticks, and she can’t seem to get the hang of taking her shoes off whenever she enters a building.

Then there’s gorgeous but aloof Tomohiro, star of the school’s kendo team. How did he really get the scar on his arm? Katie isn’t prepared for the answer. Look at that cover! So gorgeous and artsy. And the blurb sounds kickass, especially the part about Tomohiro. Any guy with connections to the gods is a guy I'll like. Reminds me of that one TV show I loved watching when I was a kid about the magic chalk that could make characters come to life... I can't for the life of me remember what it's called, though!

After one wild party, Julia starts receiving romantic texts . . . from an unknown number! Jason promises to help discover the identity of her mysterious new suitor if she agrees to break a few rules along the way. And thus begins a wild goose chase through London, leading Julia closer and closer to the biggest surprise of all: true love.

Because sometimes the things you least expect are the most meant to be

The first thing that got me about this was the cover. I love colorful things, and there's this beautiful rainbow of pastel and bubbles. It's almost trippy. The main character seems like a dorky but adorable one, and the plot itself sounds really sweet and romantic. Hopefully it lives up to my expectations! There's nothing better than a good contemporary read.
